Thirteen-year-old Antek longs to talk to his mother. But he can’t — she’s no longer alive. Then, one day, against all odds, he manages to reach her. Her spirit appears on the screen of an old television, flickering to life in a swirl of colorful images. But just as Antek begins to believe, his father, Paweł, steps in. Practical and stern, he refuses to let his son put faith in “such nonsense.”
To him, it’s nothing more than a fantasy — and he’s determined to keep Antek grounded in reality.
